Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

1/4 cup pure maple syrup

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon dried thyme (or fresh, if preferred)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, maple syrup, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and thyme until well combined.

Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a large zip-top bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour (up to overnight for deeper flavor).

Preheat the Grill: When you're ready to cook, preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).

Grill the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting any excess drip off. Discard the remaining marinade. Place the chicken breasts on the grill and close the lid. Grill for about 6-7 minutes on one side without moving them.

Flip and Cook: After 6-7 minutes, flip the chicken and grill for an additional 6-7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is golden brown with nice grill marks.

Rest the Chicken: Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.

Serve: Slice the chicken, garnish with fresh chopped parsley, and serve warm. This pairs beautifully with seasonal grilled vegetables or a light salad.
