1 can (15 oz) of chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained and rinsed

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed is best)

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon sea salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

Zest of 1 lemon

Optional: ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper for a kick

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure a nice crisp on the chickpeas.

    Prepare the Chickpeas: Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas under cold water. Pat them dry using a clean kitchen towel or paper towels. This step is crucial for achieving a crunchy texture!
