Ingredients

2 cans (8 oz each) crescent roll dough

16 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup sour cream

3 large eggs

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 tsp cinnamon

Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Fresh berries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray.

Prepare Crescent Roll Layers: Unroll one can of crescent dough and lay it out in the bottom of the prepared baking dish, pressing the seams together to create a solid layer.

Make the Cream Cheese Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add in the sour cream, eggs, lemon juice, and cinnamon, and continue mixing until well-blended and fluffy.

Spread the Cream Cheese Mixture: Pour the cream cheese mixture over the layer of crescent dough in the baking dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula.

Top with Additional Crescent Dough: Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and lay it over the cream cheese mixture. You can press seams together for a more uniform top.

Bake the Casserole: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.

Cool and Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10-15 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar if desired, and get creative with fresh berries on top for an extra burst of flavor.

Slice and Enjoy: Cut into squares and serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy your delightful Creamy Cheesecake Crescent Rolls Casserole!
