Ingredients

2 ripe bananas

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smooth melting)

1/2 cup crushed nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts, pistachios)

1/4 cup shredded coconut (unsweetened)

1/4 cup mini marshmallows (optional)

Popsicle sticks or skewers

Parchment paper

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas:

    - Peel the bananas and cut them into thick slices (about 1-inch thick) or leave them whole if you prefer banana pops. If you're using skewers, insert a popsicle stick into the end of each banana piece.

      Melt the Chocolate:

        - In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between each, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.

          Coat the Bananas:

            - Dip each banana slice (or whole banana if you chose that option) into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Allow the excess chocolate to drip off.

              Add the Toppings:

                - Immediately sprinkle your choice of crushed nuts, shredded coconut, or mini marshmallows over the chocolate-coated bananas while the chocolate is still wet. Be creative with your toppings!

                  Chill:

                    - Place the chocolate-covered bananas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Once completed, transfer the baking sheet to the freezer. Let them freeze for about 1-2 hours or until the chocolate is firm.

                      Serve:

                        - Remove the banana pops from the freezer and let them sit at room temperature for a couple of minutes before serving for the best texture. Enjoy your delightful Chocolate Dipped Banana Bliss Pops!
