Ingredients

6 cups Rice Chex cereal

1 cup white chocolate chips

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup cherry extract

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

2 cups powdered sugar

1 cup dried cherries, chopped

1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Prep Your Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, measure out the Rice Chex cereal and set aside. Chop the dried cherries into small pieces for easy incorporation.

Melt the Chocolate & Cream Cheese: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and softened cream cheese. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted and smooth. This should take about 1-2 minutes in total.

Add Flavorings: Once melted, stir in cherry extract and vanilla extract into the white chocolate and cream cheese mixture until well combined.

Combine Cereal and Coating: Pour the melted mixture over the Rice Chex cereal. Using a spatula, gently stir until all cereal pieces are evenly coated.

Coat with Sugar and Crumbs: In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the powdered sugar and graham cracker crumbs. Add the coated cereal to the bag in batches, sealing it tightly and shaking gently to coat each piece evenly with the mixture.

Add Dried Cherries: After coating the cereal, gently fold in the chopped dried cherries with a spatula.

Cool and Serve: Spread the puppy chow onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to cool for about 10-15 minutes. Once cool, sprinkle with mini chocolate chips if desired for extra flair.

Store: Once fully cooled, you can transfer the Cherry Cheesecake Puppy Chow into an airtight container for storage, or serve immediately for a sweet treat!
